Chiara Irene Thea Cappellina
Bilingual (Italian-English) professional journalist since 2005, Chiara started writing her first articles at the age of sixteen.
She worked in the editorial staff of “Il Giornale” in Milan in 2001 following the tragic events of September 11th. She obtained a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences in 2002, with a thesis on the “The Newspapers’ editorial machine” and successfully completed a Postgraduate degree in Communication and Scientific Journalism in 2003.
In her career she covered new technologies and lifestyle in the long collaboration with the local newspaper “L’Arena” in Verona. She was part of the editorial staff of “Corriere del Veneto” and she is currently the editor in chief for the Lifestyle & Environment column at the online newspaper Heraldo.
Between 2011 and 2014 she was in charge of the Marketing & Communication in Italy of American multinationals such as Patagonia and Harman International and from 2015 to 2017 she led the trade show provider Italian Exhibition Group Press Office.
Passionate about wine and sensitive to environmental issues, she loves to tell the stories behind a label and the passion brought by peculiar wine producers. She holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines qualification achieved with a Pass with Distinction.
