On Friday April 8 I got the chance to visit the brand new wine store Flor, which has inaugurated in Verona this week. The new Flor project, Born to be wine, is located in the historic center of Verona (Vicolo Stella 4A) and features a small but curated wine shop where natural wine lovers will find a welcoming point of sale, which also offers a local delivery service in 30 minutes.
The wine selection is all focused on 600 exclusive natural wines (not subjected to chemical treatments, neither in the vineyard nor in the cellar) coming from Veneto region and all over Italy, with a selection of foreign labels crafted by small local producers capable of combining territoriality and high production quality.
The selection is handled by local professionals together with the founding members of the project Giuseppe Rizzo and Federico Fiori.
“Getting into the Veronese food and wine community will be a challenge – declares Giuseppe Rizzo -, but we are ready to win it thanks to the stories and experiences of skilled winemakers who will amaze our clients with honest, provocative and fun wines”.
A truly cool place which was definitely lacking a proper spot in Verona. C’mon Folks let’s discover and drink more natural wines!
