The fresh wines and delicious cuisine from Lake Garda are just a click away on Gardadelivery.com: the brand new website, created by the Consorzio di Tutela del Chiaretto e del Bardolino, brings together the cellars, restaurants and delicatessens of Garda Veronese food area.
The ultimate goal of Gardadelivery.com is to offer a personalized service to those who love Garda wines and cuisine. In collaboration with Webmotion company wine shipping, home delivery and take away have also been activated. But the real deal is the one offered by “Martedì in Rosa” (Tuesdays in pink) the initiative created by the Bardolino Wine Route in collaboration with the Consorzio. On the Strada del Vino (Bardolino Wine Route) website, five different packages of Chiaretto are available, each of which will be combined with a webinar that will allow the clients to talk online with the producers, discussing the wines characteristics with them.
Those who purchase the packages will have the opportunity to connect and talk with the producers on set dates through the Zoom platform: the live streaming will also be available to everyone on the Facebook pages of Strada del Vino Bardolino and the Bardolino Chiaretto.
Each package contains six bottles (three labels from three different cellars, two bottles per label) and costs 45 euros including shipping costs. The five packages are the following “Le ragazze del Chiaretto” (The girls of Chiaretto) with the wines by Benazzoli, Marchesini Marcello and Zeni 1870 wineries, all managed or co-managed by young women) coming on July 28th; “I ragazzi del Chiaretto”(The boys of Chiaretto) with the wines by Casaretti, Gentili and Le Ginestre wineries, whose webinar is coming on August 4th); “Agrivacanza” (with the Chiaretto of three wineries that combine wine production and hospitality, Costadoro, La Rocca and Tenuta La Presa, with live streaming on August 11th; “I contadini” (with the rose wines of Cà Bottura, Raval and Righetti Dante wineries, which will live on Facebook on August 18th) and “Oggi bio” with the organic wines of the Le Fraghe, Le Tende and Vigneti Villabella cellars, online on August 25th.
The “Martedì in Rosa idea – explains the president of the Bardolino Wine Route Giorgia Marchesini – is to offer a series of virtual conversations with the winemakers by sharing opinions, ideas and tasting notes with a glass of Chiaretto wine in hand. I am happy that many young producers have decided to join the project, and at the same time it is an honour to be able to count on some historical wineries who contributed to the birth of our Doc”.
