A unique event that combines cinema and wine, for the first time in Bologna from 1-3 February 2020: at the Cineteca Foundation, together with the Trento Film Festival, the Trentino and the Alto Adige Winemakers will be together to offer autochthonous wines’ tastings and masterclasses along with the screenings of the movies dedicated to the wines of the Dolomites and Lake Garda.
40 winegrowers will narrate their mountain life among the vineyards with words, images and of course their indigenous wines, thanks to “Vignaioli di Montagna” the special event dedicated to the artisanal wines of Trentino and South Tyrol, created thanks to the support of the Trento Chambers of Commerce and Bolzano.
On Saturday February 1st from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm, 20 winemakers from Trentino and 20 from South Tyrol will be offering tasting of mountain wines accompanied by Trentino mountain cheeses and South Tyrolean artisanal speck. The admission price to the public will be 20 euros (15 euros for all members of sommeliers, slow food, etc.).
With the event approaching, the organizers revealed the producers and the wines who will be at the tastings in the three master classes scheduled on Monday 3 February at the Renzo Renzi Library. Every tasting will offer four wines from South Tyrolean winemakers and four from Trentino ones , ranging from native varieties such as Teroldego, Nosiola and Lagrein to international vines such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, which have found a unique expression in the region.
